A mobile phone mast put up on top of Rothwell Fire Station dominated debate and conversation among the town's residents. And it proved a battle were people power prevailed. This was 2003, a year which featured a pigeon pincher on the prowl in LS26 as well as local charity cricket match for Cancer Research UK.
