Matteo, whose goal for the Whites against AC Milan is still celebrated in song by United fans, said: “It’s going to be a great evening, raising money for a fantastic cause.
“Although I am not quite sure what I’ve got myself into, I think it could get very competitive.”
Taking place on Thursday, November 30, the Sporting Social event is being sponsored by Leeds Beckett University.

“We want the evening to be informal and relaxed and there’ll be no strict dress code.
“All you’ll need is a sense of fun and an appetite to support such a fantastic cause.”
